Grandma Camp in California

After Disneyland and camping, Alexis and Ethan went to Fresno with Grandma Kris and Grandpa Steve for Grandma Camp! They spent 3 days all alone with Grandma and Grandpa and had a great tim! Mom and Dad were a little nervous (mainly about there being pool and some kind of accident taking place), but Alexis had a wonderful time and was sad to have to come home. She is already looking forward to Grandma Camp in Fresno next year.

So here are some more Disneyland photos (for those of you who couldn't figure it out). We had a great time with the Smith clan! Thank you Mom, Dad, Lindsey and Matt for all the work you did to pull it off.

The Princesses

As you all can imagine, the favorite part of our trip (and probably her life up to this point) was meeting the Disney Princesses. She was exhausted, but she still managed to freak out every time one came out to meet her. It was cute!

Each Easter, Diana's family has a "Last Supper" and talks about the last week of Jesus' life. We didn't have costumes, so we just put towels over our heads. It's a fun way to teach Alexis about Easter. And Diana made a great dinner with unleavened bread, sop, artichokes, etc.

April update

Here are a few more pictures. The first ones are from Nate's wedding to Gill ("Jill"). Diana made Alexis' dress for Nate's wedding and did an amazing job! Yes, that was the best family picutre we had - Alexis was a little tired of all the pictures and would not make a good face.

Firsts for 2008

So, here are a couple firsts for Alexis and our family in 2008: our first trip to "Disneyland" (aka the Disney store in the local California mall); Alexis' first stitches (we're sure not her last); and Alexis' and Logan's first time sledding! January isn't even over and it's already been an eventful year!
